The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest Heliofind Mount is a highly portable, intelligent solar tracking platform designed specifically for safe and precise solar observing. Using Sky-Watcher’s advanced Heliofind™ technology, the mount automatically locates and locks onto the Sun with just a single button press, eliminating the need for complex alignment procedures.

Built with an onboard GPS, 3-axis accelerometer, and electronic compass, the Heliofind continuously tracks the Sun across the sky with exceptional accuracy for hours at a time. This makes it the ideal mount for schools, public outreach, solar imaging, eclipse expeditions, research, scientific demonstrations, and dedicated H-alpha solar observation.

Despite its compact design, the mount supports payloads up to 5kg, making it suitable for small refractors and popular hydrogen-alpha solar telescopes such as the Daystar SolarScout 60DS. The integrated joystick allows fine centering adjustments when required, especially useful with longer focal length setups. The mount operates using 8x AA batteries or a 12V DC external power source with the included battery adapter, ensuring reliable use in the field.
